so okay, Mr. Mark Figueroa sold 700 Nooks + 700 Covers + $10k in Gift Cards in one transaction. i didn't want to just relay this information without proof, so i snagged a photo of the B&N Inside Article @ work:

a picture i did of will for the webcomic. still brainstorming about the background. a title? some airships, maybe? both? maybe a speech bubble? only time will tell.....

if you haven't guessed, that was a bad Monopoly reference [har har]. but yes, i have been chosen and i shall attend. i weighed my options:

getting paid to sit for 7 hours + letting my mind wander and write > working to get paid + train fare to go to the City Group store in manhattan.

it's once a week for 4 weeks starting sept. 23 and another 4 weeks sometime in the spring. here's to hoping i'm a good enough student...
